Study program
In the 2017/18 academic year, the University of Graz became the first Austrian university to establish a Master's degree program in Digital Humanities.
In this program, students acquire theoretical and methodological knowledge as well as practical experience in the academic application of modern IT technologies and digital methods to research questions in the humanities.
As part of the Doctorate in Philosophy, doctoral students can further deepen their knowledge with the examination subject "Digital Humanities".
As part of the Bachelor's degree programs in the humanities at the University of Graz, the Department offers students the opportunity to develop a profile in the field of IT-supported development and processing of research content in the humanities with the supplementary subject "Information Modelling in the Humanities" and thus obtain an additional qualification that is attractive for the job market.
In addition, after successfully completing courses worth a total of 24 ECTS credits, students receive a certificate of study success!
