Library

The department's library contains more than 1000 works. An up-to-date and high-quality collection has been built up, particularly in the areas of Web 2.0, Semantic Web and Digital Edition, while at the same time the collections on data modeling, web and network technologies as well as theoretical, historical and sociological aspects of new media are constantly being updated.

As one of the few locations in Graz for subject-specific literature in fields such as computational linguistics, media art and IT law, the department's library is also used by students from other faculties and universities. The library's collection grows by 60 to 70 volumes every academic year and is accessible to all users with a valid library card from Graz University Library. All items are recorded electronically in the Graz University Library portal and can be borrowed.
